Lison Joseph (AAJA-Philadelphia) was recently recruited by The Philadelphia Inquirer to be their deputy business editor. He was hired from The Dallas Morning News where he was an assistant business editor, working with a team of reporters who wrote about the fastest-growing sectors of the Dallas-Fort Worth economy. He started his career as a city reporter at The Times of India. Lison was also previously the technology editor for, The Economic Times, India’s largest business newspaper, before moving to the U.S. He received a B.A in economics from Mahatma Gandhi University, a post-graduation diploma in journalism from Asian College of Journalism and an M.A. in international conflict studies from the University of Notre Dame. Lawrence Wu (AAJA-New York) is a producer for a new NPR history podcast called Throughline, launching in February. The weekly show will be hosted by two POC who will be diving into topics from the past to help the audience understand and give more context to the news today.
